McKinley College Military Benefits

To learn more about how to qualify for military education benefits, contact your base’s Education Officer or McKinley College’s Admissions Department.

"GI Bill®” is a registered trademark of the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). More information about education benefits offered by VA is available at the official U.S. government website at www.benefits.va.gov/gibill.

Does McKinley have special residency requirements for Military?
McKinley College will limit academic residency to twenty-five percent or less of the degree requirement for all degrees for active-duty service members and their adult family members (spouse and college-age children). In addition, there are no “final year” or “final semester” residency requirements for active-duty service members and their family members. Academic residency can be completed at any time while active-duty service members and their family members are enrolled. Reservist and National Guardsmen on active-duty are covered in the same manner.

Military Spouses

Military spouses are called on to perform above and beyond while their husband or wife is fulfilling military obligations. To honor military spouses’ sacrifices, we offer our support for their education. The 25% military discount includes military spouses, MyCAA students and retired military spouses.
